- Accurately input various data sets into our databases and systems.
- Handle confidential information with utmost security and discretion.
- Sort and scan genealogical documents into OnBase software.
- Perform real time quality control on data entry and scanned images.
- Categorize application papers based on established criteria.
- Correspond with membership regarding incorrectly prepared applications.
- Previous experience in a records management or high-volume document handling department/center (not a copying center) conducting data entry and scanning to process records, documents, manuscripts, or research materials.
- Must be exceptionally detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently with a high degree of accuracy, and proofread work product quickly and precisely.
- Ability to work independently, and stay focused on tasks.
- High level of computer literacy, which should include scanning equipment and database systems. Preference will be given to prior iMIS database and OnBase knowledge.
- Ability to compose professional/business correspondence.
- Knowledge or interest in genealogy or history is a plus.
Limited overtime hours throughout the year; however, must be available to work during designated week for annual meeting.
Ultimate hiring salary will be dependent upon candidate’s experience and knowledge.
